How to change properties
The user can manually change the name of the layer and on some layers the acquisition date. There are two ways of changing the properties within a layer.
- Change properties within file manager
- Change properties within exploration and workspaces
Change properties within file manager
1. Change properties within file manager
Select the layer you want to update.
2. To change the name of the layer, Click on the edit icon.
3. Change the name and press "Enter" on your keyboard to save.
4. To change the acquisition date, press the edit calendar icon.
5. Select a date.
6. Select a hour time, then press "OK".
7. Select a minute time, then press "Ok".
8. You are asked if you are sure that you want to change the acquisition date. You will also see what date and time you are changing the acquisition date to.
Select "Ok" if you want to change, otherwise select "Cancel".
9. A notification will show that the acquisition date has been successfully updated.
Change properties within exploration and workspace
1. Within exploration or a workspace, select the layer you want to update.
2. Under the properties tab you will be able to make your changes.
3. Click on the edit icon to change the name of the layer, press "Enter" on your keyboard to save your changes.
4. Click on the edit calendar icon to change the acquisition date.
5. Select a date.
6. Select a hour time.
7. Select a minute time, then click on "Ok".
8. You are asked if you are sure that you want to change the acquisition date. You will also see what date and time you are changing the acquisition date to.
Select "Ok" if you want to change, otherwise select "Cancel".
9. A notification will show that the acquisition date has been successfully updated.
